MARISSA KING
2007 SENIOR GYMNAST OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Marissa, the run-away favourite in this category. Marissa has had a great year, helping her team Huntingdon to 3rd place at the British Team Championships, winning gold on vault at the Glasgow Grand Prix and claiming the bronze medal at the "Good Luck Beijing"; the test event for the 2008 Olympics. Marissa was also a key member of the 2007 World Championship team who made history by qualifying to the Team Finals. A fan favourite, TBGN is excited to see more of Marissa in the Olympic year!

BECKY DOWNIE
Junior Gymnast of 2007
No real surprise here. Becky has been at the top of her game for many years now, and will be looking forward to becoming a senior in 2008. Becky received many votes from the fans, no doubt for her excellent 2007 results including retaining her national junior champion title, gold on vault and bars at Junior Nationals along with silver on floor, and making the team for the 2007 world championships.

DANUSIA FRANCIS
2007 ESPOIR GYMNAST OF THE YEAR
The 2007 Espoir National Champion has earned many fans in 2007 for her difficult gymnastics routines and her obvious enjoyment and enthusiasm for gymnastics. Picked as many as "one to watch" for London 2012, Danusia has had an exciting final year as an Espoir and can look forward to many new opportunities to compete internationally as a Junior. In 2007 Danusia won two bronze medals at the Australian Youth Olympic Games in the team competition and on beam

2007 Coach of the year
Head coach to the newly-crowned British Team Championships, Claire polled an impressive number of votes to be named Coach of the Year. The results Notts gymnasts have achieved in 2007 are testament to Claire's excellent coaching skills and ability.

NOTTS
2007 CLUB OF THE YEAR
Firm favourites with fans of British gymnastics, Notts have had an excellent year. In April they won their first British Team Championships title with a young team packed full of difficulty, artistry and skills. The club had 2 gymnasts at the Australian Youth Olympics, 2 in the team at the World Championships, had the National Junior Champion, Junior National beam champion, and had a gymnast selected to compete at the Japan Junior competition. With depth through the levels, Notts seems to get stronger and stronger!
