TBGN: How does it feel to be British champion?
ZA: I'm very happy!
TBGN: What do your school friends and teachers think about your success?
ZA: They are proud of me!
TBGN: You seem to be a very confident young gymnast. Do you get nervous at competitions?
ZA: Sometimes!
TBGN: How did you get started in gymnastics?
ZA: I started gymnastics when I was 7 because I wanted to.
TBGN: You began training at Park Road when your old club Warrington formed an alliance with Liverpool. What difference has the move made to you?
ZA: I can learn lots of new skills at Liverpool.
TBGN: What's it like training alongside all those big names?
ZA: Really good!
TBGN: Do you have a best friend at gym?
ZA: My best friends at gym are Hannah Clowes and Fran Marquez
TBGN: Have you ever had any injuries?
ZA: Only little ones.
TBGN: You are one of the few levels gymnasts to perform a release-and-catch element on bars. How long did it take you to learn your Tkatchev?
ZA: It took me 3 months!
TBGN: Are you allowed to tell us what new skills you are working on?
ZA: I don't know
TBGN: Next year you will be moving up to the Espoir division. Do you have any particular goals for 2003?
ZA: My goals for next year are to learn a double straight off bars, and to do well in the British.
TBGN: What is your favourite/least favourite skill to perform?
ZA: Tkatchev is my best, double tuck is my worst.
TBGN: Can you give us three words to describe yourself?
ZA: Funny, happy, confident!
TBGN: And a silly question to end with: How many leotards do you own?
ZA: About 15
