TBGN: Recently, south Durham has done excellently in competitions, what do you think makes the team so strong?
DB: Its support, encouragement and cheering each other on!
TBGN: Do you get on well with your team mates and coaches?
DB: Yes, very well we have a good relationship.
TBGN: In 2002 we saw you come in the top 20 at the Junior National Championships. What are you goals for 2003?
DB: Top 10 or first haha! I'm going to try really hard (NO Injuries!)
TBGN: And what are your long term goals for your gymnastics?
DB: To get into the Olympic squad and our team coming first!
TBGN: Do you have anyone you look up to either in the gym or Internationally?
DB: Andreea Raducan a lot because she is amazing she's my favourite and I would love to become like her in the future.
TBGN: Which gymnasts style do you like most?
DB: Elena Zamalodchikova; she's a very talented gymnast who I like as well.
TBGN: How do you manage to keep up with both gym and school work, it must get quite hectic!
DB: Its really hard but I do get extra time to finish it off by my teachers they do understand what I have to do.
TBGN: What is your daily schedule like?
DB: Mad! I have to fit everything into one day which I don't really like to do.
TBGN: What skills are your favourite to perform?
DB: I like performing my gienger because i go really high and can see the bar miles away and its easy to catch.
TBGN: What were the hardest skills for you to learn?
DB: Vault was one my hardest pieces to achieve because i couldn't get the grasp of how thing were preformed and done it was really hard i spent a lot of time on vault! but now i think i no how!
TBGN: What's the best advice anyone's ever given you?
DB: Believe in your self!
TBGN: Finally, what words of wisdom would you give an up and coming gymnast?
DB: We have all been like you and you have to keep your chin up and never give up, you'll get there some day!
