KC: My earliest gymnastics memory is forgetting my floor routine at my first regional competition

KC: The reason Huntingdon is now so strong in women's as well as men's gymnastics is that the girls and the boys often work together and we support each other in everything
TBGN:The biggest difference between Monika and Paul?
KC: The biggest difference between Monica and Paul is that Monica comes across as being tough whereas Paul is actually the tougher one!
TBGN: The thing my coaches are always telling me?
KC: "You have to want to do well and believe that you can do it!"
TBGN: The Huntingdon boy that everyone fancies?
KC: There isnt any one particular boy that everyone fancies we all just get on really well!
TBGN: My favourite part of training?
KC: Tumbling into the pit!
TBGN: The competition I always look forward to?
KC: British Teams as I love competing with my team mates.
TBGN: The best place I've been with gymnastics?
KC: Glasgow, it was the most enjoyable trip but I am looking forward to going to china in november this year [2007]!
TBGN: My superstitions / lucky charms?
KC: I dont have any superstitions at the moment but I used to have an elastic band, I was convinced that it brought me luck!
TBGN: The move I would most like to learn?
KC: The move I would most like to learn is double-double (double twisting, double back..)on floor!
TBGN: The secret to being a good beam worker?
KC: The secret to being a good beam worker is concentration and controlling your nerves!! You have to believe that it's only you and the beam; block out all of your surrounds and distractions.
TBGN: My thoughts on the UK School Games?
KC: Most enjoyable trip so far!!!
TBGN: My chances of making Beijing 2008 & London 2012?
KC: I dont know, I'm just planning to take things step by step and hopefully reach 2008 (which is my main target!)
TBGN: My opinion of the new scoring system?
KC: My opinion of the new scoring system is that it's tough on gymnasts that make slight mistakes, one of the main decision I find it forces you to make is to either go safe with no mistakes or pilling up your routine with difficulty to increase your start scores but risking the deductions
TBGN: One thing that would improve gymnastics?
KC: Increased media coverage would bring more funding to the sport.
TBGN: The main thing gymnastics has taught me?
KC: You have to work for everything you want in life.
TBGN: 5 things you love?
KC: Holidays (sun), shopping, music, SOCKS and socialising
TBGN: 5 things you hate?
KC: Getting home from gym and realising I have homework that is due in for the next day!, being allergic to wheat, walking home in the rain, stamina conditioning and insects.
TBGN: The phrase I use most often?
KC: "Everything happens for a reason"
TBGN: Something about me that would surprise most people?
KC: I'm finally over 5 ft!!
